Australian bred sprint sensation Super One is headed to Melbourne for the Spring Carnival with Newgate Farm and partners acquiring a controlling interest in the unbeaten son of rising super sire I Am Invincible.
Prepared by Michael Freedman in Singapore, Super One has proven a sensation in winning each of his four starts in explosive fashion.
He won the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe Sng Gr 2 on May 15 by five lengths untouched and added the Juvenile Championship Sng Gr 3 to his record by a similar margin on July 26 prompting connections to look at Group I goals in Australia.
“He will target the Group I VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington, a race won last year by I Am Invincible colt Brazen Beau,” said Newgate Farm principal, Henry Field.
“Super One has untapped talent and is by one of the hottest sires in Australia so that fits perfectly with the Newgate Farm profile for selection of our stallions.”
