Respected publication Thoroughbred Daily News published some interesting tables highlighting the performance of various sires that have had progeny sell at the first major Northern Hemisphere yearling sales this year with Newgate Farm’s exciting shuttle sire The Factor (USA) riding high.
As you can see in the table above, The Factor sits atop the list for North American based first season sires, his achievement quite remarkable given his modest $15,000 service fee in comparison to some of his peers.
The 2015 Keeneland September Yearling Sale is still to come and The Factor will again have good representation with an impressive 65 yearlings entered for the biggest yearling sale in North America.
Good judges in North America have been greatly impressed by his stock as highlighted at Saratoga where they sold for up to $750,000 and The Factor certainly has the numbers on his side to make a real impression when they start running at two.
An explosive grey son of War Front, The Factor is back at Newgate Farm this spring at a fee of $16,500.
