James Harron Bloodstock bought the highest priced yearling from the first crop of Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside and on Sunday purchased his highest priced yearling sold so far this year at Inglis Easter.
Harron in partnership with Tony Fung Colts purchased Group III ATC Breeders Plate winner Incognito for $1million at the Gold Coast last year and he was good enough to contest this year’s Golden Slipper.
They joined forces again to purchase the Sledmere Stud consigned colt from imported stakes-winner She’s So Special (USA) for $850,000.
He is the second foal of She’s So Special, whose first foal is a two year-old filly by Stay Inside called Sondera, that was bought by Star Thoroughbreds/Randwick Bloodstock Agency for $330,000 at Magic Millions and is in work with Chris Waller.
Stay Inside has three more yearlings to be offered on Monday.
