Comin’ Through began his quest Wednesday to live up to his older half-brother Criterion on Wednesday when he annexed his first start at Warwick Farm for trainer Chris Waller at odds of $12.
“He’s got a bright future,” said Trainer Chris Waller after the race.
“We haven’t put him under any pressure so he’s doing it all himself at the moment.”
Comin’ Through, like Criterion, is raced by his breeder Sir Owen Glenn, is the eighth foal and eighth winner for the remarkable Mica’s Price, who has also left the stakes winners Silently and Varenna Miss.
Mica’s Pride’s yearling by Pierro sold for $750,000 at Easter earlier this year and she has a yearling by Fastnet Rock.
