Newgate Farm shuttler The Factor (USA) added a new stakes-winner to his tally when Kroy captured the $75,000 Tortugas Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Saturday.
He won the seven and a half furlong turf sprint by three-quarters of a length and has won three of seven starts.
Kroy is the seventh stakes-winner for The Factor, whose oldest Australian progeny are now two year-olds.
The Group I winning son of War Front had Australian progeny sell for up to $240,000 this year and many have entered our leading stables with over 20 of his two year-olds already named.
Having covered 100 plus books of mares in each of his first three seasons in Australia, The Factor has received great opportunity to succeed and returns this spring at a fee of $11,000
