Newgate Farm, one of Australia’s premier thoroughbred studs, is seeking an experienced full time veterinary nurse. The qualified applicant will be a self-starter with the ability to perform a variety of tasks including patient treatment/care, assisting the resident veterinarian with various procedures, ordering of supplies, maintenance of equipment and basic lab work. A solid understanding of Microsoft programs is also essential. Applicants with a veterinary nursing certificate IV will be given greater consideration although having completed this certificate is not essential.
