Cox Plate winner State of Rest (IRE) has his first Australian yearlings selling this year and achieved his best result so at Inglis Easter with a colt from Intrinsic selling for $425,000.
Consigned by Segenhoe Stud, the colt was bought by Star Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd / Vin Cox Bloodstock and is a half-brother to Group winning colt Rivellino, who also won the $2million Inglis Millennium last year.
His dam is by dual Cox Plate winning sire So You Think, so he’s a colt to follow closely in the Chis Waller stable when he matures and gets out over a trip.
The best son of Starspangledbanner, State of Rest has covered over 350 mares in his first three seasons shuttling to Newgate from Ireland
