Talented Dissident filly Foxborough was stakes-placed last season at two and again showed the promise of better things to come when finishing third to glamour fillies Funstar and Probabeel in the Group I ATC Flight stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
The John Sargent trained filly was having only her second run back this preparation and will take benefit from the run going forward.
Placed at four of her six starts so far, Foxborough has already won over $90,000 in prizemoney.
Passed in and retained to race by her breeder Geoff Grimish, Foxborough is from stakes-placed import Sense of Pride (Can).
Foxborough looms as a bright prospect this season for Dissident, who covered some 217 mares last spring and is priced this year at $27,500.
