Stay Inside added another impressive debut winner to his tally at Warwick Farm on Wednesday when the Tom Charlton trained colt Lord Horatio made a winning debut.
Ridden by Dylan Gibbons, Lord Horatio sat outside the leader and was strong all the way to the line to score a tenacious three-quarter length win in the 1000m maiden.

“Credit to the horse, he’s obviously got a good level of ability to do that on debut,” said Tom Charlton.
“Big, gross, horse, so there will be on this improvement going forward. And he’s not just a two-year-old type we feel.
“Full credit to the whole staff and everyone who’s educated him throughout the whole process.”
As for where he may head next, Charlton indicated that he could target the $1m Magic Millions National 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast Turf Club on May 18.
“I don’t see any reason why we need to stop. There is a valuable Magic Millions race in two or three weeks, that we can consider, so these are all good problems to have, Bott added.
A $300,000 Magic Millions purchase from Highgrove Stud for O’Shea-Charlton Racing/James Bester Bloodstock/Eric Lucas , Lord Horatio is the first foal of Murchison, a winning half-sister by More Than Ready (USA) to Group I winner Steps in Time.
It’s a top class family that also features Group I winners Vision and Power, Glamour Puss and Espiona, who is by Stay Inside’s sire Extreme Choice.
Lord Horatio is the sixth winner from just 13 starters for Stay Inside with three of those winners being stakes-winners Blue Door, Incognito and Lassified, plus Group placed Eviction Notice.
Stay Inside is priced this spring at $66,000.
