Profiteer was a super fast juvenile in the Price Kent stable back in 2021 winning the Inglis Millennium and splitting Anamoe and Home Affairs when second in the Group II ATC Todman Stakes and the Price Kent team produced a new winner for the young stallion at Sale on Sunday.
Held in high regard, Commit kicked off with a fourth in the Listed MRC Debutant Stakes last spring and has been on the sidelines since then with a recent trial indicating he was ready to go first up.
Ridden by Thomas Stockdale, he was not entirely comfortable on the heavy 9 track, but knuckled down to his task to win the 1200m maiden by half a length.
