Newgate Farm returned to the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this year as vendors after an absence of several years and we’re well pleased that we did!
Newgate sold 12 yearlings for $1,955,000 at an average $162,917 placing us third on the leading vendors by average list.
Our top seller was the top colt of the sale, our cracking bay by Foxwedge from Glowlamp that made $420,000 when bought by Paul Perry.
Also selling really well for us were a Street Cry (IRE) colt from Flying Success that made $240,000 to the bid of Gai Waterhouse and a Northern Meteor colt from Krystyna Bertolini that made $200,000 when secured by Jason Warren Racing.
The latter colt was a successful pinhook having been bought as a weanling for $70,000.
We congratulate all successful purchasers and wish them the best of luck for the future.
