Foxwedge already has his Group I winning Australian filly Foxplay and also has a very promising filly in the UK with Gracious Diana garnering high praise for her dominant win at Newbury on Friday.
The John Gosden trained filly was having her first run for the year following an unplaced debut last year and forged clear to win the 1m 2f contest by more than three lengths in an impressive display.
The only filly in the field with an Epsom Oaks entry, Gracious Diana looked a class above her rivals with Frankie Dettori in the saddle.
“She’s a lovely filly and will probably come back here for the [May 20 Listed Oaks] trial, that is the plan at the moment,” said Gosden.
“She’s a big girl and is filling into her frame and she looks rather like her grandfather, Generous.”
Gracious Diana is a half-sister to high class stayer Dandino, who has campaigned successfully all over the world including Australia where he finished second in the Group I MRC Caulfield Cup, so it is no surprise staying is her forte.
