Newgate Farm’s Deep Field has made history setting a new record for seasonal earnings and is poised to be Champion Hong Kong Sire for 2021/2022.
With only a few weeks of the Hong Kong season left to run, which ends with a final meeting on July 16, Deep Field has an unassailable lead over his rivals with 14 winners of $HK 54million with his star performer the Group I Hong Kong Sprint winner Sky Field.
Deep Field will take over as the most successful sire ever in Hong Kong by earnings, beating the previous record held by Medaglia d’Oro (USA) set last season when his champion son Golden Sixty cut a swathe through the best Hong Kong races.
