Super interesting result in Adelaide on Saturday with talented Dundeel three year-old filly Femminile downing the colts to win the $1million SAJC South Australian Derby (2500m) at Morphettville.
Trained by Phillip Stokes and ridden by Lachlan Neindorf, Femminile scored by the best part of a length and has now won two of 10 starts earning over$660,000 with both of her wins coming in stakes races.
She is the first winner from stakes-placed Pierro mare Femme Fireball, a half-sister to Group winner Rock from the family of Group I winner Credit Account.
Femminile is entered for the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in the Newgate Consignment as Lot 561.
